HEALTHY TRAVELLING
You are encouraged to seek medical advice
before travelling if you have any family history of Deep
Vein Thrombosis (DVT), have any medical condition which
might pose a risk when flying or are on long term medication.
Before and during
the flight
— Wear loose-fitting clothes.
"Sky socks" can be purchased in duty free on board.
— Drink sufficient fluids.
— Avoid alcoholic beverages and
drink tea and coffee in moderation.
— Use moistering cream
to keep your skin from drying out.
— Perform physical
exercises in your seats. You will find recommended
exercises in our in-flight
magazine, Silhouette.
— Try and sleep during your flight.
This will help your body cope better when traveling
to different
time
zones.
On arrival — Take a leisurely walk to help stimulate your
circulation.
— If you can, take some time to
put your feet up and relax. |
